Pool profiles (name, volume, sanitizer, surface), water-test readings, your chemical inventory, dose history, and chat messages with the coach. If you create an account, we store your email address. Guests are identified only by an anonymous token.
Photos of test strips, chemical labels, or your pool are sent to our server, analyzed by an AI model to extract readings or product details, and immediately discarded. Photos are never stored, and never used for training.
Solely to run HomeHog: computing dose recommendations, keeping your history, and syncing your pools across devices when you sign in. We do not sell data, show ads, or share data with third parties beyond the cloud providers that host HomeHog (AWS, MongoDB Atlas).
Chat messages and photo extractions are processed by large language models via AWS Bedrock. Content is not used to train models.
Accounts use email one-time codes — HomeHog never stores a password. To delete your account and all associated data, use Settings → Account in the app, or email support@homehog.app.
HomeHog provides guidance for residential pool care. Always read and follow chemical product labels. Dose recommendations are estimates — retest your water after every addition.
